Protection and Coverage Levels

Pasture Fire Protection covers fire damage and loss as a direct result from:

• Equipment and machinery
• Lightning strikes
• Downed power lines caused by weather

The policy also covers up to $500 of fire department service charges caused by the the fire department saving or protecting pasture locations.

Eligibility

Pasture Fire Protection is an annual policy. This means that an application must be submitted each year to obtain coverage. A policy can be purchased at any time; however, coverage does not go into effect until 15 days after the signed application is received.
